Summer Camp Program

Full Day Paddle Camp (Canoe Kids)

  • Our full day paddling introduction program. Your kid(s) will learn the basics of recreational paddling and competitive paddling
  • A great weekly base program that is a lot of fun for these young athletes
  • 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Drop-off from 8:30am/pickup before 5:00pm)
  • Paddle camp weeks offered from July 4 to August 31
  • Participants must be born in 2009 or earlier

Sprint Racing Programs

Sprint Racing – Competitive

  • This program is for children 8 to 14 years old (born 2009 or earlier)
  • The program is geared towards fun, racing technique, balance, and an introduction to competition.
  • Participants will learn to paddle single, double, and four-person canoes and kayaks, along with everybody’s favorite, the War Canoe.
  • July 4 to September 1
  • 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday (Drop-off from 8:30/pickup by 5:00)

Sprint Racing – Spring Training

  • Spring training for experienced sprint racers
  • 3-5 training sessions per week, after school and weekend mornings
  • Dryland training
  • Single boats only

Adult Programs

Adult Paddling Program

  • Offers instruction and fitness in recreational canoes, kayaks stand-up paddle boards and sprint canoe/kayak
  • No experience necessary!
  • Supervised by certified instructors
  • Tuesday and Thursday Canoe and Kayak – 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • July 4 to August 31
  • Opportunity to use equipment during club hours (conditions apply)

Adult Dragon Boat (Individual)

  • Introduction to Dragon Boat
  • No experience necessary!
  • Great program combining paddling instruction with fitness in a social atmosphere
  • Monday or Wednesday 6:00pm to 8:00pm
  • Dependent on sufficient interest – Please sign up!

Team / Corporate Dragon Program

  • This program is intended for any group interested in forming a Dragon Boat crew for a summer.
  • The program is geared towards learning to paddle a Dragon Boat and reinforcing team spirit.
  • It is also a great workout exercise that is sure to lower your stress at work.
  • July 4 to August 31
  • 4 week program
  • Mondays or Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  Additional times and dates to be announced depending on demand and boat availability

  • Our program for young and adult athletes with disabilities
  • 2 evenings per week (Adult and youth)
